YPAS is a performing arts high school that offers majors and minors in vocal music, instrumental music, dance, theatre, and design and production. Students receive a well-rounded education at duPont Manual High School and have access to state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated faculty, and scholarship opportunities.
Plays, musicals, cabaret skits, improvisation—Academy children get many opportunities to shine in the spotlight and back stage. Performance is not an extra-curricular activity at Academy but an essential part of a student’s personal and academic growth, teaching accountability and instilling confidence in their talents.
Star Performance Academy offers art, adventures in music, and private and group lessons in violin, voice, and guitar. We seek to make musical theatre opportunities available to children and adults. We offer a number of children's theater camps, programs, and lessons for a variety of ages.
Carefully tailored to the needs of students in first grade through eighth grade, and administered by local artists in partnership with our professional staff, our scientifically based arts education curriculum provides hands-on opportunities to explore dance, visual arts, theatre, music, and more.
