Danes Hill School. As with the original building of Danes Hill, its transition from a private house to a private school is poorly documented, but we know that it opened its doors for business as a school in 1947 with 16 pupils.
Admissions Points. Children are welcome to join Danes Hill School in any year group but the main points of entry are Nursery (rising 3s), Reception (4+), Year 3 (7+) and Year 7 (11+). As places in every year group are limited early registration is encouraged in order to avoid disappointment.
