Mohammed Salah Baouendi (Arabic: محمد صالح باوندي; October 12, 1937 in Tunis – December 24, 2011 in La Jolla, California) was a Tunisian-American mathematician who worked as a Distinguished Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, San Diego.

1 de ene. de 2015 · Salah Baouendi was born in Tunis on October 15, 1937. Mathematics was Salah’s real passion, and it was his mathematical talent that took him from the Sadiki Lycée in Tunis (Fig. 1) to Paris, where he spent the last two years of high school.
