21 de may. de 2011 · Jim Beard is one of the unsung heroes of the session keyboard world. His listed accolades were not accidental, and the content of this interview proves it. I had the good fortune to speak with him last September after the "Dukes of September" performance in Milwaukee.
Jim Beard is a keyboarder, not a typical organ player. His main instruments are the piano and the synthesizer. Nevertheless, there are some recordings on which Jim also plays the Hammond organ.
