Aliza Begin (Hebrew: עליזה בגין; née Arnold; 25 March 1920 – 13 November 1982) was the wife of Prime Minister of Israel, Menachem Begin.

Aliza Begin (Arnold) was born on March 25, 1920, in the city of Drohobych. She came from a well-off family, who made their living in the oil business. Aliza’s father, Zvi Herman, was an enthusiastic and active Revisionist Zionist who led the Betar movement in their hometown.
26 de mar. de 2020 · In 1983 a new Jewish settlement was founded in the vicinity of Ben Gurion Airport, which was called Alei Zahav, consonant with the name of Aliza Begin. Menachem and Aliza’s relationship was a story of love. Aliza was his lifelong, true love. They were together when they were fighting three empires—Nazi, Soviet, and British.
On November 13, 1982 Aliza Begin, Menachem Begin’s wife, died. Aliza suffered for many years and had of died of severe lung disease, when Menachem was on an official visit to the United States. Aliza was buried in accordance with her will, besides underground fighters Meir Feinstein and Moshe Barzani on the Mount of Olives.
