Hannes Folberth ist heute als Studiomusiker für diverse Bands und Projekte tätig und produziert eigene Musik die vorwiegend Ambientelemente enthält. Während der laufenden Produktion zum neuen Album »Visionary«, schloss sich Hannes der Band zum 40jährigen Bestehen erneut an und half den früheren Spirit von ELOY zurück zu bringen.
To my ears, this is the Eloy album that allows the keyboard mastery (and experimentalism) of Hannes Folberth to come shining through (though the contribution of authentic strings sometimes confuses or confounds this factor). Did anyone else notice the absolute absence of lead guitar solos throughout the album? Interesting!

Hannes Folberth hatte schon vorher zusammen mit Hannes Arkona Musik gemacht, mit seinen technischen Fähigkeiten an den Tasten konnte er der Musik neue Facetten hinzufügen.
After the departure of keyboardist Detlev Schmidtchen and drummer Jürgen Rosenthal due to what Bornemann says were ego issues, Eloy found itself with three new members: Hannes Arkona supplementing Bornemann on guitar, Hannes Folberth on keyboards, and Jim McGillivray on drums.
