Kim Gardner. Bob Langham. Pete McDaniels. Richard Burkwood. The Birds were an English rhythm and blues band, formed in 1964 in London. They recorded fewer than a dozen songs and released only four singles. Starting out with a hard R&B sound, they later began infusing it with Motown -style vocal harmonies. [1]
Pete is a native of Arden, N.C., and current resident of Conyers, Ga., who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. A freelance golf writer, he was a contributing editor/senior writer for Golf Digest and Golf World magazines a combined 19 years.

Grupo británico de música rock formado en 1964 por Ali McKenzie (voz), Tony Munroe (guitarra y voz), Ron Wood (guitarra y voz, que luego sería guitarra de The Rolling Stones), Kim Gardner (bajo y voz) y Pete McDaniels (batería).
