David Ebo (November 9, 1950 – November 30, 1993) was an American singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1976, Harold Melvin was looking for a lead singer for his group, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes after Teddy Pendergrass left, eventually hiring Ebo to replace Teddy.
The single entered the Billboard chart in December of 1985 and peaked at #37. Ebo's solo career never really took off and tragically David Ebo died of bone cancer in 1993 at the age of 43....
