23 de ago. de 2021 · NORWAY, Iowa — Norway High School last played baseball 30 years ago, before the school merged with nearby Benton Community. That ended a run for the team, winning 20 state baseball championships.
Students from Norway attend the Benton Community School District. [10] Prior to 1991, students attended Norway High School , notable for its baseball athletic program (the subject of the feature film The Final Season ).
20 de may. de 2022 · From 1965 to 1991, Norway Community School, enrollment 101, won 20 state baseball championships and was runner-up four times. Overall, it’s been to the tournament 29 times. The school shuttered its doors after the 1991 campaign and became part of the Benton County School District.
Norway High School has been accredited by the North Central Association of Schools since 1907. The school has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence as measured by MEAP and ACT testing results.
