La Academia Nacional de Teatro y Artes Cinematográficas Krastyo Sarafov[1] es una institución de educación superior con sede en la ciudad de Sofía, la capital de Bulgaria. Es la primera universidad de Bulgaria en el ámbito del teatro y el cine siendo fundada en 1948, como la única institución pública y estatal de su tipo en el país.

By a decision of the National Assembly of 21.07.1995, HITA was transformed into an academy under the name of National Academy for Theater and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov”. The Academy is continuously expanding, updating and enriching its activities. Today it offers a wide range of subjects and programmes to its students.
