The Other Side Of The Mirror es el cuarto álbum de estudio de la cantante estadounidense Stevie Nicks, publicado por la compañía discográfica Modern Records en 1989. Grabado en Los Ángeles y mezclado en Buckinghamshire, Inglaterra, se basa libremente en torno a la temática de la novela Alicia en el país de las maravillas.
Originally recorded in April 1988 for Stevie Nicks' album The Other Side of the Mirror, as working title "Tragedy Of One's Own Soul" and also earlier for a song titled "Lily Girl", both with lyrics written by Nicks.
This is the final album that Stevie Nicks found any success with both solo and with Fleetwood Mac, suffice to say that while it's a step back from both Rock a little and Tango in the night, it still manages to showcase her sharp songwriting as well as otherworldly vocals in a way that her previous work succeeded with.
Driven by British producer Rupert Hine‘s keyboard arrangements, The Other Side of the Mirror (1989) features a whimsical sound, a sonic departure from the signature rock sound that characterized Stevie’s earlier solo work.
