27 de mar. de 2023 · One of the most interesting of these lost icons is the Christopher Inn. After the Alfred Kelley mansion was demolished in 1961, the Christopher Inn sprung up in its place at 300 E. Broad. The hotel opened on July 29, 1963, and it became a nearly instant icon.
The Inn is a privately owned estate used by our Members, tenants and licensees. The substantial estate consists of Hall, the Treasury Office, the Library, Chapel and commercial and residential lettings set around squares and gardens known as the Walks.
Gray’s Inn is the smallest inn, with 300 students joining each year. Its small membership intake is seen as an asset to its barristers. They consider the close-knit community feeling vital to creating a strong legal community and providing the best support.
