Dave Markee (born March 1943, Haxey, North Lincolnshire, England) is an English musician, songwriter, guitarist, bass player and producer, as well as pastor, businessman and entrepreneur. Session bassist for artists such as The Rolling Stones , Frank Zappa , Joan Armatrading , The Who , Henry Mancini , and Bing Crosby .
The album Sample and Hold was recorded for Virgin Records in 1983 by Haycock, Cooper, and George Glover, with a rhythm section composed of the session musicians Dave Marquee and Henry Spinetti. [7] . A follow-up album was in the works, but Cooper bowed out, citing personal reasons.
