The estate of legendary keyboardist, primarily known for his work with the revolutionary Parliament and Funkadelic, has released Wave From The WOOniverse, a double album consisting of songs written and recorded by Worrell and completed by his lifelong peers and friends.
George Bernard Worrell, Jr. (April 19, 1944 – June 24, 2016) was an American keyboardist and record producer best known as a founding member of the Parliament-Funkadelic collective. In later years, he also worked with acts such as Talking Heads, Bill Laswell, and Jack Bruce.He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, inducted in 1997 with fifteen other members of Parliament-Funkadelic.

The keyboardist and synthesizer player Bernie Worrell was classically trained, studying at both Juilliard and the New England School of Music. He said before that one of his biggest influences was in studying the works of Bach. As far as Parliament goes, I absolutely adore the mythology and cast of characters that the band created.
