Former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor makes a guest appearance playing slide guitar on "A Apolitical Blues". The band recorded and mixed enough material from these performances for a triple LP, but for marketing reasons kept it to a double album.
A humorous, truncated version of “Don’t Bogart That Joint,” a tune done originally by Hayward’s previous band the Fraternity of Man, yields to “A Apolitical Blues,” with the Mick Taylor/Lowell George duo in high gear.

24 de dic. de 2021 · Celebrating 45 years since it’s release, Little Feat will be touring in 2022 on the “Waiting For Columbus Tour.” This bluesy live album with the addition of The Tower of Power ‘s horn section brings a New Orleans flair that makes this album memorable.
16 de dic. de 2021 · Waiting for Columbus is a fine live album. However, compared to Feat’s blistering performance at the Rainbow Theatre on 25th January 1975, it pales in comparison. Probably the finest live gig I have ever witnessed.
