Richard Kennedy Vosburgh (27 August 1929 – 18 April 2007) was an American-born Grammy and Tony-nominated comedy writer and lyricist, working chiefly in Britain.
Dick Vosburgh was born on 27 August 1929 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA. He was a writer and actor, known for The Stanley Baxter Show (1963), Tommy Cooper (1969) and Planet Patrol (1963). He was married to Beryl Roques. He died on 18 April 2007 in London, England, UK.
A comedy writer, film buff and musical theatre aficionado, Vosburgh brought his talents to bear on a variety of disciplines. He wrote material for all manner of comedy stars, from Bob Hope to Ronnie Corbett, Tommy Cooper to Russ Abbott. He also wrote the lyrics for several hit stage musicals.
