Patti Austin (born August 10, 1950) is an American Grammy Award -winning R&B, pop, and jazz singer and songwriter best known for "Baby, Come to Me", her 1982 duet with James Ingram, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 after its re-release that same year.
"Angel Of The Night" is another flat out classic and has some of the best grooves you'll hear. Very original and the production is excellent. "The Feeling's Love" has some of the best production I've ever heard on a soul record. For that reason it's been sampled in hip hop quite a few times.
