Brentwood School is an independent, secular K–12 coed day school with two campuses located four blocks apart in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, United States . History. Founded in 1972, Brentwood School took over the property formerly owned by Brentwood Military Academy, which had existed at this location since 1930.

Brentwood Sixth Form is a community of around 380 students that is warm and down-to-earth. We encourage students to have a broad range of interests no matter what their specialism, and alongside academic studies, we help them develop good moral character, communication and leadership skills.

The major objective of Brentwood School is to provide a quality college-preparatory education for each child enrolled in the school. In order to fulfill this objective, admission standards are applied to student applicants so that a student entering Brentwood has a reasonable expectation of success with our college-preparatory program.
Home. We Are Brentwood. Brentwood History. In 1557 Sir Antony Browne, the Lord Chief Justice, acquired the land on which Brentwood School was first built. During Mary Tudor's reign, hundreds of Protestants were burned at the stake and a well-known Brentwood Protestant, William Hunter, was ordered by Sir Antony Browne to be executed.
