Bucky Berger, originally performed with the band Rough Trade, which was formed by vocalist Carole Pope and Kevan Staples in 1968. Berger was the drummer with the band from 1978 to 1982, when he left to pursue a freelance career before joining the Fathead band in 2007.
After a six-month layoff, Pope and Staples rebuilt the band, adding David McMorrow, Bucky Berger, Terry Wilkins, Bert Hermiston, Colina Phillips and Betty Richardson to the line-up at various points in 1978 and 1979. The group resumed playing regular Toronto shows, most often at the Horseshoe Tavern.

29 de ago. de 2013 · After catching the attention of influential producer Jack Richardson (The Guess Who, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger), the band — which now included Terry Wilkins (bass, vocals), Bucky Berger (drums) and Dave McMorrow (keyboards, vocals) — signed with indie label True North Records and released their second album, Avoid Freud (1980).
