Mani Neumeier (Manfred Neumeier, born 31 December 1940 in Munich) is a German rock musician, free-jazz drummer, artist, and frontman (singer and drummer) of the German Krautrock-band Guru Guru.

Mani Neumeier (MN): I started gigging as an amateur musician as early as 1959 in a couple of amateur bands in Switzerland. We started with Dixieland, Swing and Modern Jazz as at that time there was no Beat Music or Rock'n'Roll in Continental Europe.

Mani Neumeier (born 31/12/1940) started as a jazz drummer in the early-1960's, who during these early days caught the attention of many as a highly original percussionist, especially famous for custom rebuilding his drum set, and inventing the novel (instantly re-tuneable) "Mani Tom".
