Grid Rush is an online game on Disney XD's TRON: Uprising website. The gameplay is a side scrolling, fast paced adventure. The game takes place in the Outlands and in Argon City.
The in-universe reason is that they're two different grids. The one in TRON '82 is the Encom Grid. Flynn got digitized at Encom into their servers. The one in Legacy/Evolution/Uprising is Flynn's personal Grid that he built in secret underneath his arcade.
