'FATHER FIGURES': Four Stars (Out of Five) A comedy starring Owen Wilson and Ed Helms as two adult fraternity twin brothers, that go on a road trip together to find out who their true biological father is.
Father Figure: With Michael Smiley, Dermot Crowley, Pauline McLynn, Jason Byrne. Created, written by, and starring comedian Jason Byrne, this sitcom follows the everyday chaos of the Whyte family. Tom Whyte is a man who tries to be the best dad he can to his two sons while his wife works full time. But his schemes and plans often descend into total chaos and confusion.
Synopsis. Peter Reynolds (Ed Helms) is a physician who spends his days performing rectal exams on his patients. He's also divorced and his son Ethan (Zachary Haven) has little respect for him. Peter takes Ethan to attend the wedding of his mother Helen Baxter (Glenn Close).
Official Trailer. Wilson and Helms are Kyle and Peter Reynolds, brothers whose eccentric mother raised them to believe their father had died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out together to find their real father, and end up learning more about their mother than they probably ever wanted to know.
