Biografia. Un primo piano di Nik Kershaw. Nato a Bristol, è cresciuto a Ipswich. Dopo aver lasciato la scuola nel 1976, ha lavorato come commesso e nel frattempo ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra, cantando in numerose band underground locali. Da una di queste, i Fusion, si è separato nel 1982 per dedicarsi a una carriera da cantautore solista.
Nik Kershaw est un auteur-compositeur-interprète multi-instrumentiste et producteur de disques anglais né à Bristol le 1 er mars 1958. Très populaire au Royaume-Uni , où huit de ses singles atteignent le top 40, il obtient aussi quelques succès en France, notamment avec ses tubes Wouldn't It Be Good et The Riddle , au milieu des années 1980.
Nik Kershaw exploded onto the UK pop scene in 1984 as a solo artist. A string of global hit singles – including ‘Wouldn’t it Be Good’, ‘The Riddle’ and his biggest hit, ‘I Won’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me’ – helped to propel him to 62 weeks on the UK Singles Chart through 1984 and 1985 – beating every other solo artist, together with performing at Live Aid.
