ニック・ドレイク（Nick Drake、1948年 6月19日 - 1974年 11月25日）は、ビルマ（現ミャンマー）生まれのイギリス人シンガーソングライター。フォークの分野で活動。生前は商業的成功に恵まれず、3枚のアルバムを残して他界するが、死後に評価が高まった。

Nick Drake was being treated at a psychiatric hospital when the record came out. The following year he decided to abandon music and turn to computer science. He was found dead on November 25, 1974, from an overdose of antidepressant, probably a suicide.

Nick Drake werd geboren in 1948 in het vroegere Birma, waar zijn vader ingenieur was.Na een korte tijd in India gewoond te hebben, kwam het gezin in 1951 terug naar Engeland en vestigde zich in Tanworth-in-Arden.Nick Drake groeide op in een muzikaal gezin en leerde al snel piano en akoestische gitaar spelen. Drake kreeg een typische Britse upper-middleclass opvoeding.
