I Mr. Bungle sono un gruppo musicale rock sperimentale statunitense formatosi nel 1985 in California.. Hanno pubblicato quattro demo durante la metà degli anni ottanta, prima di firmare per la Warner Bros. Records e pubblicare tre album in studio tra il 1991 e il 1999.La band partecipò a svariati tour nel 2000 per supportare gli ultimi album pubblicati, ma nel 2004 si sciolse.

Mr. Bungle est un groupe de rock expérimental américain, originaire d'Eureka, en Californie. Le groupe est formé en 1985 alors que ses membres étaient toujours au lycée, et est nommé ainsi en référence à un film éducatif des années 1950 conçu pour apprendre les bonnes manières et l’hygiène aux enfants [6].

Mr. Bungle é uma banda de rock experimental criada em 1985 em Eureka, Califórnia.As músicas do Mr. Bungle continham elementos de rock, heavy metal, ska, jazz entre outros estilos ao mesmo tempo. Estilo semelhante ao da banda Naked City (de John Zorn).O Mr. Bungle lançou quatro álbuns (atualmente considerados Demo) antes de assinarem com a Warner Bros. Records.
The band's first demo, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny, was recorded around this time, and soon others followed: Bowl of Chiley, Goddammit I Love America!, and OU818. With each release, their sound became progressively more mutated, until musical boundaries began to melt (metal, funk, experimental, jazz, ska, techno, etc.).
