It’s a collaboration between Mike Patton (Faith No More, Fantômas, Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle et al.) and Jean-Paul Vannier, a septuagenarian legend of French pop.
Mike Patton is an American singer, best known for providing lead vocals for Faith No More along with Mr. Bungle, Fantômas, Peeping Tom, Tomahawk, Lovage and more. 4 de oct. de 2020 · Mike Patton received Vannier's music and put his own lyrics on it. Some passages are in French, with a nice exaggeration of the accent, like the word 'camion', accentuating the burlesque of a title with Zappaian accents, or the incongruous enumeration of dishes (and swear words) of French gastronomy in a 'Corpse Flower' which could have been the soundtrack of a popular comedy of the 70s.

A ma gauche, j’ai donc Mike Patton, éternel cerveau du groupe Faith No More (également responsable de l’anecdotique side-project Neverman chroniqué ici) et à ma droite, j’ai le compositeur et arrangeur français Jean-Claude Vannier, responsable du fameux album Histoire de Melody Nelson de Serge Gainsbourg.
