Angelo Daniel Badalamenti (March 22, 1937 – December 11, 2022) was an American composer and arranger best known for his work in composing for films. ... Authors and Publishers presented Badalamenti with the Henry Mancini Award for his accomplishments in film and television music.
Badalamenti subsequently worked on the scores for such films as Dark Water, The Wicker Man, and Edge of Love. In 2008, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the World Soundtrack Awards. Three years later, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) honored Badalamenti with the Henry Mancini Award.
