Valkyrien Skies aims to be the Minecraft ships mod everybody's always wanted. That means it includes interactive blocks, custom collision for walking on ships, mod compatibility, and more. Truthfully a lot of the problems other ship mods have claimed to be as impossible and impractical are indeed quite solvable, and Valkyrien Skies remains as proof of that.
Note: Although Valkyrien Skies is a realistic physics engine, Eureka ships do not have realistic physics. In order to facilitate easier ship-building, all Ship Helms apply stabilizing force/torque. Eureka is a simple add-on for Valkyrien Skies that fits with vanilla aesthetic and is easy and fun to use.
Valkyrien Skies 1 is now EOL, but it lives on with a superior engine and better quality, performance, and features in the Valkyrien Skies 2 repository. Join the discord if interested in backporting VS2 to 1.12. alkyrien Skies. See: LICENSE file, Project Roadmap.
12 de mar. de 2024 · On its own, Valkyrien Skies 2 is just a physics system. To get features to use it with, install an addon mod like Eureka -- an airship mod in the vein of Archimedes' Ships. A tutorial/documentation for Eureka can be found here. Mischief of Mice also published a Bit-By-Bit showcase of Eureka on Youtube.
