The future unreal conditional is used to talk about imaginary situations in the future. It is not as common as the future real conditional because English speakers often leave open the possibility that anything MIGHT happen in the future.
Second Conditional: past simple + would. Las oraciones condicionales denominadas second conditional expresan escenarios imaginarios o hipotéticos y el resultado que se derivaría de ellos. Past unreal Conditional – III okres warunkowy: If I had money, I would spend it. (Gdybym dziś miał pieniądze, to bym je dziś wydał.) We use the second conditional to talk about hypothetical or imaginary situations in the present or the future. We can use past simple or past continuous in the if clause, and we can use would, could or might + simple infinitive (do) or continuous infinitive (be doing) in the main clause.
