Sense and Sensibility (in het Nederlands vertaald als Verstand en gevoel, Gevoel en verstand of Verstand en Onverstand) is de eerste, in 1811 anoniem uitgegeven roman van de Engelse schrijfster Jane Austen.Het verhaal is gebaseerd op de briefroman Elinor and Marianne die ze wellicht al in 1795, op 19-jarige leeftijd, schreef. Het verhaal gaat over de zusters Dashwood, Elinor en Marianne.
