Alexis Andrew Nicholas Koerner, dit Alexis Korner, né le 19 avril 1928 à Paris et mort le 1 er janvier 1984 à Londres est l'un des pionniers du blues britannique. In 1957 and 1958 Korner recorded two sessions under his own name (as ‘Alexis Korner’s Skiffle Group’ and then ‘Alexis Korner’s Blues Incorporated’) under the title Blues From the Roundhouse, Volumes 1 and 2 – which despite the title, were in fact recorded at the Decca studio in West Hampstead.

Ihre Namen sind John Mayall, Graham Bond und Alexis Korner. Vergessen wir Graham Bond, er prägte meiner Meinung nach keinen eigenen Stil. John Mayall war und ist ein Bluesman, sonst nichts.
