The Pretty Things have always produced excellent and interesting music, although their albums are a bit uneven. But this is not the case with "Freeway Madness", which features some of the best rock and roll of its time, much thanks to the writing of Phil May and Pete Tolson. Tolson also shines with some brilliant lead guitar licks.
