ABOUT. Ben Lee began his career as a young teenager in the early 90’s, in the Australian lo-fi punk band Noise Addict, who were discovered by taste-making artists Sonic Youth and the Beastie Boys. That began an extraordinary career that has been both eclectic and eccentric, and still growing more strange and fascinating each day.
Ben Lee (born on September 11, 1978) is an Australian musician. He began as a musician at the age of 14 with the Sydney band, Noise Addict.Lee's solo career started at the age of 16, while he was still in Noise Addict, with his first solo album, Grandpaw Would.

Born in Sydney in 1978, Lee launched his solo career with 1995’s Grandpaw Would, furthering the mischievous wit of his early band in a mellower, more intimate mode.
