Spyro Gyra is een Amerikaanse fusionband uit Buffalo (New York). De groep is in halverwege de jaren 1970 opgericht door altsaxofonist Jay Beckenstein. De fusie die de groep speelt is ontstaan uit diverse stijlen: smooth jazz, Rhythm-and-blues, salsamuziek, soul, funk, enzovoorts.
Spyro Gyra est un groupe américain de jazz fusion formé en 1976 dans la ville de Buffalo, dans l'État de New York. Il a connu de nombreuses versions différentes, le seul membre actuel issu de la formation d'origine étant le saxophoniste alto Jay Beckenstein (le pianiste/claviériste Tom Schuman rejoignant le groupe dès 1978 est souvent considéré comme un membre fondateur, à tort).
