Jacques-Yves Cousteau (Saint-André-de-Cubzac, 11 juni 1910 – Parijs, 25 juni 1997) was een Franse marineofficier, ontdekkingsreiziger en onderzoeker, die de zee bestudeerde en alle daarin voorkomende levensvormen.
