Miranda Sex Garden’s sold out one-night show at London’s 100 Club in July 2022, was a long-awaited spring blossom after twenty years of winter. In the autumn of 2023 they returned for another London show, followed by a UK wide tour.
Miranda Sex Garden is een Britse muziekgroep die actief was van 1990 tot 2001 en heropgericht in 2022. De band speelt een mengeling van klassiek, gothicmuziek, folk en ethereal wave. Het enige constane groepslid is Katharine Blake.

Miranda Sex Garden present a confident and polished version of their trademark folky goth with progressive elements on Fairytales of Slavery. Combining curious medieval-influenced wind recorders with esoteric keyboard lines, along with mysterious and evocative vocals, the album adeptly evokes the atmosphere of claustrophobic entrapment in strange magical realms that the lyrics suggest.
