Nonu last pulled on the black jersey in 2015 but is still not giving up on his playing career despite being 41 years old. He is one of only a handful of prestigious players that have played over 100 games for the All Blacks. Ma’a was also a member of the All Blacks when they won the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup.

It will be the third campaign for the All Blacks centurion in Southern California, having returned to the club ahead of the 2022 season after a one-year hiatus. Nonu captained the Legion this past season and made 13 appearances including 12 starts.
