He is best known for 'Brief Encounter' (Broadway, West End), 'Tristan and Yseult' and 'A Matter of Life and Death' (National Theatre) On Television his work most notably includes Jamaica Inn (2014), Best Of Men, The Queen (2009) and Doc Martin (2004).
