Sorum performed and co-wrote “Judgement Day” alongside Slash, Duff McKagan, and Dave Kushner — all of whom played with Sorum in Velvet Revolver, the mid-2000s hard rock supergroup fronted by the late Scott Weiland.

He originally wanted to use it for the supergroup he formed in the mid-90s with McKagan, Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones and Duran Duran bassist John Taylor, but they went with Neurotic Boy Outsiders instead.
