Cheap Trick is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1973 by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, lead vocalist Robin Zander and drummer Bun E. Carlos. The current lineup of the band consists of Zander, Nielsen and Petersson. 29 de oct. de 2023 · Bun E. Carlos, whose real name is Brad Carlson, was the drummer for Cheap Trick from the band’s inception in 1973 until 2010. Known for his powerful drumming style and unique stage presence, Carlos was an integral part of the band’s sound and image. However, in recent years, he has taken a step back from his role as the band’s drummer.

He’s teamed up with a variety of singers for Greetings From Bunezuela!, which will be released on June 24 via eOne Records. The sticksman has recorded a version of Robert Pollard’s Do Something Real, which includes vocals from the Guided By Voices frontman. Hear it below.
Bun E. Carlos appeared with Cheap Trick on April 4, 2016 as the band was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On June 24, 2016, Carlos issued his first-ever solo album, Greetings From Bunezuela! Carlos uses Ludwig Drums, Zildjian cymbals, Remo & Ludwig drumheads, Ludwig & DW hardware, Pro-Mark signature drumsticks, and Wilson gloves.
