The coroner described that the cause of his death was a brain hemorrhage brought on by an accidental overdose of methamphetamines. Mark St. John (* 7.Februar 1956 in Anaheim, Kalifornien als Mark Leslie Norton; † 5. April 2007) war ein US-amerikanischer Rockmusiker und zeitweise Gitarrist der Gruppe KISS.. St. John ersetzte im April 1984 Vinnie Vincent bei Kiss. In der Gruppe war er Angestellter, der ein festes Gehalt bekam; Einnahmen aus Autorenrechten standen ihm vertraglich nicht zu.
Mark St. John was a respected teacher and a guitarist for the Southern California cover band Front Page before joining KISS. When he became a KISS member, he contributed to the band’s second unmasked-era album ‘Animalize.’ After its release on September 13, 1984, the album ended up being one of the band’s most successful studio albums, except for the ones made by the original KISS lineup.
