Although the band was named for keyboard player Revere, it was Lindsay who was the most identifiable member, and as time went on, he took over songwriting and producing chores for the group.

He sang all of the Raiders' hits, including the #1 four-million-selling "Indian Reservation". At the same time he had a solo carrer and scored a platinum single with "Arizona."
