31 de ene. de 2007 · On Through The Hill, one is immediately struck by the space in the music, Partridge acknowledged that Harold allowed him to un-Baroque things. Budd is a consummate improviser on keyboards and piano. This excellent recording is now available with a bonus track and expanded liner notes.

Harold Budd. Harold Montgomery Budd (* 24.Mai 1936 in Los Angeles; † 8. Dezember 2020 in Arcadia, Kalifornien) war ein amerikanischer Pianist, Komponist und Dichter. laut.de zufolge war er „einer der wichtigsten Künstler des Ambient.“Er arbeitete auch mit Brian Eno und den Cocteau Twins.

But while different, it's equally as good; and in some ways, it's even better, in that it's a seemingly random scattering of beginnings & possibilities, all the more tantalizing for that very reason.
