Garden State [1] est un film américain réalisé par Zach Braff et sorti en 2004. Il tient également le rôle principal, aux côtés de Natalie Portman et Peter Sarsgaard , Ian Holm . Cette comédie dramatique raconte la vie d'Andrew Largeman, un aspirant acteur de 26 ans qui retourne dans sa ville natale dans le New Jersey après le décès de sa mère.
"Garden State" was written and directed by Zach Braff, who stars as Andrew.He has one of those faces, like David Schwimmer's, that seems congenitally dubious. He returns home to his father, Gideon (), who is very dry and distant, masking anger: Gideon is a psychiatrist who believes Andrew will never be well "until you forgive yourself for what you did to your mother."
