Gorefest are raging with a renewed intensity that literally cremates the competition. Rise To Ruin is a huge leap foreword from the last effort with it's crushing musical brutality that shares, at times, more than a passing similarity to some of the more prominent Polish acts.

Rise to Ruin has impressive highs but a few tracks shouldn't have made the cut or should have been structurally revised. "The War on Stupidity" and "A Question of Terror" are both high quality crushers with great guitar leads/solos and fist-raising vocal lines, not to mention well-mixed drumming (old school analogue reigns supreme) and some excellent early Swedish sounding riffs.
