The remaining members, however, recruited drummer Gordon Townsend and decided to continue as The Orchestra (3) who continue to tour up to the present day.

But Lynne carried on with an expanded line-up, and the album was moderately successful, breaking the UK Top 40 and yielding the band’s second Top 10 hit, a version of Chuck Berry ’s Roll Over Beethoven , a natural fit for ELO.
