Mandel spielte in den Chicagoer Blues-Clubs und war Mitglied der Bands von Charlie Musselwhite und Barry Goldberg, bevor er 1967 an die Westküste zog. 1968 kam sein Debütalbum Christo Redentor heraus, dem bis heute weitere Aufnahmen folgten.. Doctors say the worst yet. But he’s fighting to stay alive. None of the docs know which way it’ll go. But he’s still fighting.
11 de mar. de 2015 · Today is Harvey’s 70th birthday, but it is not a happy one. He was diagnosed with nasal cancer in 2013, and has undergone sixteen surgeries. The type of cancer he has requires very specialized surgery by a top doctor in Chicago who does not accept health insurance.
