Our innovative ‘parallel education’ philosophy offers the best of both worlds to students during their College years. Boys and girls are taught separately in the Middle School (Years 7-10), while Senior School (Years 11-13) students work in a co-educational setting. Saint Kentigern offers Senior School students a choice of academic pathways.
The College is located on a large and attractive campus in the suburb of Pakuranga, 16 kilometres from the centre of Auckland, New Zealand.
On the offer of a place, Saint Kentigern College requires evidence that the conditions of entry into New Zealand have been met. The conditions of entry into New Zealand, the length of stay, and the purpose of that stay, must be clearly understood by the applicant's parents and all documentation is wholly the responsibility of the applicant's parents.
Saint Kentigern College is underpinned by a strong Scottish heritage, Christian values aligned to its Presbyterian heritage, innovative teaching, modern facilities, and the option of two qualification pathways for senior students: The New Zealand Qualification NCEA or the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
