Ernest David Bohr (7 March 1924 – 26 February 2018) was a Danish lawyer and field hockey player who played for Denmark in the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. Biography. Bohr was born in Frederiksberg, Denmark on 7 March 1924, the son of football player and physicist Niels Bohr and Margrethe Nørlund.
Ernst Bohr blev student fra Sortedam Gymnasium 1942 og 1948 cand. jur. og landsretssagfører. Han spillede landhockey for Orient i Lyngby . Ernest Bohr var søn af fysikeren Niels Bohr og Margrethe Nørlund. Han var bror til Aage, Hans og Erik Bohr. Hans farbror, matematikeren Harald Bohr, var med på det danske sølvhold i fodbold ved OL 1908.
Ernest's sport was field hockey, which he played domestically with Orient (Lyngby). In 1948, he was selected for the Danish Olympic squad. The team was n'o very successful, losing three of its four pool matches and drawing the fourth. That same year, Bohr graduated from law school, and he later became a district court attorney.
