In a period of 3 years, they shot over 40 hours of New York Dolls footage. Now for the first time ever, this footage is unveiled. The feature length documentary, All Dolled Up follows the band from their early performances in New York as such clubs as Kenny’s Castaways and Max’s Kansas City.

Sadly, because it's the New York Dolls, it doesn't seem to warrant such mainstream attention or appreciation. But if nothing else, with this footage the Dolls have a documentary which the likes of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin can only ever dream of matching. All Dolled Up is an untouchable visual record of a band just being a band.
